Ovais A. Khan, B.A. (York), Juris Doctor (Osgoode Hall Law School), M.B.A (University of Toronto) is the principal lawyer of Oak Law Professional Corporation. Mr. Khan is fully licenced to practice law in the Province of Ontario. He was called to the Ontario Bar in April 2003 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario. Mr. Khan’s good standing with the Law Society is confirmed in the attached Status Letter.

Before founding Oak Law, Ovais A. Khan studied English Literature and Psychology at York University. With his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in hand, Mr. Khan proceeded to study law at the prestigious Osgoode Hall Law School. After completing his Articleship in Toronto, Ovais Khan proceeded to obtain his M.B.A. degree in Finance from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
Mr. Khan’s approach to law is to allay a client’s concerns with assertive file management. Indeed, Mr. Khan believes that lawyers should possess an ability to remove their burden, albeit temporarily, pending the outcome of their case. Psychology is a fundamental part of his practice: before taking action, one should predict possible reactions and outcomes, and to strategize accordingly. To provide superior service at a reasonable cost is also one of the operating principles at Oak Law.
Mr. Khan has practiced in the areas of Immigration Law and Family Law. He frequently conducts immigration seminars overseas, including Dubai, Pakistan and India. His unique approach to law has led to the blossoming of his Family Law practice. Integrity, candour, and expert knowledge have enabled Oak Law to grow without spending a cent on advertising.
